In celebration of Maine Seaweed Week we teamed up with AKUA to brew Otter’s Garden - a witbier brewed with kelp as well as cayenne, lemongrass and lime. The 90lbs of kelp in this recipe was grown and harvested right here in Maine by local farmers. While kelp may not be the first thing that comes to mind when dreaming up new beers, the creativity behind this beer is a shared inspiration with the AKUA team.
